The goal of training is to teach an animal how to behave in any given situation, while employing management strategies to replace and extinguish unwanted behaviors. Sara L. Richter, CPDT-KA
Founder of Simply Animal Training LLC, began her professional training career in 2008 after 11 years as a student in the equestrian world. In 2013, Sara formed an equine training business known as Equestrianism. In 2014, Sara became a leader with the Local 4H where she taught children to use clicker training with numerous other animals including pigs, sheep, chickens, and even small animals. Shortly after Sara entered the world of dog training, where she learned to translate her knowledge of learning theory and behaviorism, to the unique behaviors of canines. Sara is proud to continue offering animal-friendly force-free services to pets and owners of all kinds. Sara is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed, a Professional Member of the Association of Animal Behavior Professionals, The Pet Professional Guild, The American Kennel Club, and more.
Professional Positive Dog Trainer and member of the Pet Professional Guild, Max has years of experience learning and training with Simply Animal Behavior and Training Center with a variety of species, including equines, birds, small animals and more. Max has significant experience with service and therapy dog training, manners and obedience, and puppy development. Max is particularly skilled with dogs who struggle with impulse control. Max is available for group classes such as Puppy and Adult class, Advanced Class, Therapy Dog Class, K9 Parkour, Targeted Workshops and select Private Sessions.
Professional Member of the Pet Professional Guild. Andy volunteered at Orphans of the Storm Animal Shelter where he handled cats and dogs of all types. Andy began working for Root Dog Training in early 2017. Andy continues to advance his training skills and knowledge at Simply Animal Behavior and Training Center through group classes and private lessons.
