Classes & Events

Our group classes function a little differently than most, in that all sessions are served “a-la-carte” style, at $30 per session. With flexible scheduling, you can book any topic at a day and time that works for you, which we then add to the calendar for others to join, or join an existing group!

Ongoing session for puppies during the critical socialization period provides the positive socialization opportunities necessary for healthy psycho-social development. We will follow along with the Socialization Checklist created by renowned behaviorist Dr. Sophia Yin. We will also discuss foundational skills necessary to manage and prevent unwanted behaviors from developing.

If your pet hates having their paws handled, wiped, or nails done this lesson is a great place to start. Over time your dog's stress surrounding the procedure can snowball making the process increasingly unpleasant and even dangerous. The goal of this workshop is to help you teach your dog that working cooperatively makes the process more enjoyable and less scary through consent training, desensitization and counter conditioning. We'll even discuss some awesome between trim tricks to keep confidence high!

This workshop is a great way to keep your pet cognitively active while working on refreshing basic obedience all in a fun trick package! We will be using the process of cue transference, and pattern recognition to teach the dogs to Read, Count, and More!

This session is a great introduction to the fascinating world of scent work. Using fun games you will learn to harness the amazing power of your pup's nose! From k9 nose work, to tracking and more, scent work is great for cognitive stimulation and those interested in sports or enrichment.

This session is a great introduction to the fascinating world of Treiball! Treiball is a variation on herding behavior for an urban environment where many herding bred dogs do not have access to sheep. Instead this sport requires the herding of pilates balls! It is great for cognitive stimulation and those interested in sports or enrichment.

These sessions aim to desensitize and counter-condition triggers associated with arousal in dogs who react by barking, lunging, or snapping. During each session additional strategies for cultivating coping skills and impulse control will be discussed along with emergency management strategies.

These sessions build upon the foundations of obedience and tailor the skills to the unique contexts in which your pup will need to apply them with a Baby on board. Skills such as loose leash walking with a stroller, leave the food falling from the high-chair alone, don't sniff the diapers, and don't steal the baby's things, and so much more!
