This class builds on the foundations taught in our puppy and adult manners and obedience for pet dogs courses. This course is ideal for those looking for Canine Good Citizen or Therapy Dog examination preparation. This course is open to pets and those aspiring to canine careers alike.
Prerequisite (must have attended at least one):
Puppy Socialization Class/Adult Class, Manners and Obedience for Pet Dogs [Online], or similar training from accredited source.

Focus and Ignoring Distractions
Desensitization to Sounds and Distractions
Sit, Down, Stay, Come When Called, Leave It, Etc.
Proofing Behaviors for Reliability
Improving/Refining Performance of Known Behavior
Fading Food Reinforcement and Secondary Reinforcers
Our group classes function a little differently than most, in that all classes run on a rotating schedule so that you can join in whenever you like! All of our classes are served “a-la-carte” style, at $30 per session, you are not required to purchase a certain amount of sessions in advance. This course focuses on individualized work while taking advantage of the distractions present in a group environment. We recommend taking this course ongoing until you reach your goals. This puts you in full control of what your pup learns, and what is important to you, without hurting your pocketbook.
Pre-enrollment is required to attend class.
All dogs must wear a flat buckle collar, harness or head collar (halti or gentleleader), and a non-retractable 6 ft leash.
Pet Parents should bring a sandwich-size bag with some of pet's food and some small treats.
Pinch, choke, slip, or electronic collars are not permitted when working with Simply Animal Behavior and Training Center for the safety of you, your pet, and the staff.
Banned collars can be traded in for big discounts on any of our services..
