Working with your pet from the comfort of home has never been easier! All you need is a web-enabled smart phone, tablet or computer to participate!
Dogs are explorers and scavengers, it is not uncommon for them to come across an object that intrigues them and assume that it is ok to put it in their mouth. They may also take the object somewhere for further exploration or safe keeping. Your dog is not trying to be naughty, they are simply being a dog. When dogs are given a clear structure for interacting with their environment, and an appropriate outlet for exploratory behavior we can prevent many of these unwanted behaviors. However, sometimes the object is just too exciting, and in those instances you may need to work with your dog to learn an interruption cue, and a cue to give the objects back to you without conflict. This webinar covers the following:
Prevention of scavenging behavior through impulse control and default behavior.
Leave It Behavior
Understanding Factors that create conflict and unwillingness to cooperate when presented with cues.
This webinar will be recorded, and will be sent to registered participants with following the live version of this session.
