Preparing Your Pet for a New Baby
Getting ready for a new baby is stressful, and your dog is aware of the changes that are happening to what was once a stable routine. These changes can cause your dog stress which can lead to unwanted displacement behaviors and more. On top of all that, babies are incredibly fragile, and it is important to prepare your pet with the skills to navigate all of the new sounds, smells, and exciting things that a baby will do.
Our Preparing for Baby Training Program is aimed at preparing you to read your pet’s body language accurately to prevent stressful interactions, to teach your dog new behaviors and skills to navigate the new routinely calmly and safely, and to prevent unwanted behaviors through management of the environment.
