The goal of our unique program is to teach the necessary skills while providing solutions to the issues that often make training away from home stressful and unsuccessful.

Our program aims not only to teach your dog skills and manners, but to loop you in on every step of the process so that you can be in touch with your pet’s learning and progress every step of the way. While we manage the heavy lifting, it is vital that you practice learned skills with your pup to ensure that they can generalize this new knowledge to you!

How does it work?

Start with a one-hour initial consultation to meet the trainer, discuss your dog’s training and behavioral history, and your personal goals. From there the trainer will create a customized training plan proposal and estimate of how best reach your goals.

Play between sessions in trainer’s fully fenced large outdoor yard!

After a training plan has been created, your pup will be transported to and from the trainer’s home from morning to early evening on their scheduled days. During their day-long stay your dog will be have focused training sessions padded with play, walks and other enrichment and socialization (optional) opportunities. This program is limited to only two dogs at a time to ensure that your dog receives the utmost attention. Returning to your home between sessions will provide your dog with the opportunity to practice freshly learned skills in your home context.

Full-Service Training is provided on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The dogs are provided a rest day in which to practice new skills at home between learning. After each day of fun and learning, your dog will be sent home with a progress report, and instructions for practicing and generalizing new skills to the home environment. You will also receive a video demonstrating how to utilize your pet’s new training at the end of each stay. This inclusive approach allows you to observe your pet’s transformation over time.

What Makes This Program Different From Boot Camp or Board and Train Programs?

We utilize only science-based methodology that is force, pain, and fear free. Many programs do not account for the time it takes to learn and generalize a new skill, and use traditional methods of intimidation and pain to make a dog compliant, and therefore appear trained. At the end of the common “2 week” period when the dog is sent home, and are away from the hyper-controlled environment, many learned skills simply don’t stick.

Traditional methods rely on outdated equipment which can severely injure your dog leading to such issues as trachea malformation, increased interocular and intercranial pressures, thyroid damage, damage to the cervical spine and more. We vow never to use equipment that causes pain or fear, and will even trade in old prong, choke, or electronic collars for discounts on our training services!

Traditional methods have also been scientifically proven to cause and exacerbate aggression issues, which is not a risk we will take. Our methods are safe, and effective for both you and your dog. For more information on the standards of methodology, please visit this link:
